Discernment becomes increasingly important at some point in everyone’s spiritual journey. Discernment is a facet of intuition, the ability to recognize the truth or untruth of what we read, experience, see, or hear. The dictionary describes discernment as an ability to detect or perceive something concealed.
Earth’s vibration is rapidly evolving into a new and higher frequency allowing the veils that have long kept humans from seeing and hearing higher dimensional energies to thin and even disappear completely. Because of this, many are starting to channel and connect with higher dimensional frequencies not yet available to the majority.
Third dimensional energy manifests personally and globally as issues of duality, separation, and many powers. The high resonating energies of the fifth dimension and higher do not support duality, separation, and powers other than the ONE power.
Many people believe that psychic is the same as spiritual. This is not true. Some, after finding themselves able to channel, start giving messages through the Internet, in classes, or with books but if their state of consciousness is still in old three dimensional belief system, their teachings will reflect that. Psychic does not automatically equate to spiritual which is why it is very important to develop discernment with regard to the channels, books, videos, classes, teachings etc. you accept as truth.
If a person doing a channeling is aligned with third dimensional energy, it will automatically be reflected in the channeled message because a channeling can rise no higher than the state of consciousness of the channeler. If you read a message that is filled with fear and predictions of doom, you can be assured that the consciousness through which it came holds beliefs of duality, separation, and powers other than the ONE power.
Religious bias or a strict dogmatic background can result in messages filled with references to right and wrong, sin, and good vs. evil. The channeler’s state of consciousness interprets the message being channeled. Even those working from a very pure and high resonating state of consciousness can bring through some distortion. Pet peeves, anger, and negativity of any sort in the channeler’s consciousness can distort a channeled message. Joel S. Goldsmith, the western mystic once said; “Any old programming can gum up the works.” which is why discernment is important.
If you read a message or book, attend a class, or get a reading that does not resonate with you, trust that. Let it go, it isn’t for you. Be informed, but always allow your intuition to express as discernment guiding you toward what is truth and what is not for you. This way you do not feed energy and give power to concepts.
It is important for all those choosing to be a channel, to understand that there are many un-evolved beings on the other side who would love the opportunity to channel through someone in order to create chaos and negative energy which they in turn can then feed on. This is why it is very important that new channelers declare at least once; “In the presence of my Higher Self and my Guides, I declare that I am open only to beings of Light”
Discernment is important in all areas of life. Media, rumors, thoughts, beliefs, traditions influence life on earth because they are a large part of earth’s collective consciousness. It is time for humans to give up believing that something is true simply because an expert, politician, priest or rabbi says it is. You give away your power when you allow others to override your innate intuition/discernment.
Many holding positions of power live from a state of consciousness limited by rigid personal, religious, traditional, and political beliefs which cannot help but express through their words, teachings, and work. To simply accept without question whatever government, church leaders, experts, friends, family, media, doctors, etc. etc. tell you is a surrender of your innate spiritual dominion as a Divine Being.
It is time for men and women of all ages to reclaim their God ordained power through trusting, acting from, living, and utilizing inner discernment– the innate ability through oneness with Source to determine what is true and what is not, and then having the courage to act upon it.
There are those that enjoy being told what to do because it is easier. Almost everyone has had one or more past lives as a slave and still carry a bit of the energy of obedience and lack of self-confidence. However, choosing to remain in what has become old, outgrown, and irrelevant serves only to keep a person stuck in place. There comes a time when that which is finished must be let go of regardless of how well it may have served in a previous state of consciousness.
Release all beliefs holding you in bondage to another. There will always be those ready to grab power especially if it is handed to them. Give long hard consideration to this asking yourself; “Why would I choose to be less than what I am? Why am I giving power over me to another?” This does not mean that you never consult an expert, go to church if you enjoy it, or listen to your doctor’s advice. It does mean that you use discernment and trust your intuition, making decisions and choices that may or may not be in alignment with what those around you think but are right for you.
Habits are hard to break, and the acceptance of and living from discernment is not for the faint of heart because there will always be resistance and interference from those who do not want you to change, preferring instead that you stay weak and dependent, allowing them to have the power.
If mankind is to evolve into new and higher frequencies of Light, the obsolete, three dimensional practice of allowing others to determine who we are and what is best for us must be moved on from– but as with everything, it is a free will choice that every person must make for themselves.
