All humans embody both masculine and feminine energy because God is both masculine and feminine and every person is an expression of God.
Masculine energy is characterized as active, be-er, do-er, take charge, make decisions, fearless energy that expresses outwardly on all levels–physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. To quote Ronna Herman spiritual writer; “Spiritually the masculine is divine will, power, and purpose–outwardly focused attributes of the Creator. Physically the male is stronger, larger, and has evolved over time to protect and feed the weaker.” Stereotypical male energy is aggressive, tough, outgoing, dominant, and assertive which is often taken for granted and excused away as “boys will be boys…”
Devoid of its counterpart the Divine feminine, pure masculine is pushy, determined, and self-serving with disregard for others’ needs in an aggressive quest for whatever is believed to be important to their own personal happiness. It manifests as what is termed “cave man mentality”, a state of consciousness that sees and enjoys conflict and all the challenges of self-serving aggression. We have all known of men like these especially in countries of excessive male dominance.
Feminine energy is characterized by compassion, receptivity, intuition, nurturing energy which also manifests physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually but more quietly and inward. Physically the female form is created to be the receptor for the masculine seed, which she then nourishes and protects as the child grows. Her smaller physical structure manifests less need for the masculine strength required of the warrior, aggressor, hunter, and gatherer. Emotionally, feminine energy is compassionate and intuitive. Mentally, she more easily understands the needs of others when making decisions. Feminine energy devoid of its counterpart the masculine, is “wimpy”, spineless, whiny, and wants to be taken care of and have others make decisions for her.
The glorification of the masculine by the masculine resulted in the oppression of women who were physically weaker and smaller by nature. This bullying has gone on for centuries and remains fully present today in many cultures and religions under under the guise of being right and for the good. It is time to heal this imbalance, for the masculine without the feminine or the feminine without the masculine can manifest only half of what really is.
Society has done males a tremendous disservice by teaching those born as males not to express their feminine aspect and that tender emotions were signs of weakness. Neither have we helped women by forbidding their spirits to create and unfold into directions labeled “male”.
All human beings, regardless of gender, embody both the masculine and feminine aspects of God which work together to manifest as a beautifully balanced whole.. Because we see and experience ourselves and others as being either male or female, we have automatically accepted many commonly accepted concepts about each gender without thought, disregarding, downplaying, or even denying qualities considered inappropriate for one or the other gender.
This does not mean that men are interchangeable with women or vise-versa. Nature provides what is necessary for activating primary gender specific qualities to the male or female body. This primary energy is an important component of the evolutionary process that is carefully chosen by every individual before incarnating with regard to what basic qualities are needed to help the person evolve and spiritually learn.
The ascension process taking place at this time on earth, is evolving mankind out of long held false beliefs and programming based in duality, separation, many powers and into a consciousness of Oneness. All are being pushed to balance masculine and feminine aspects of themselves. Men with too little feminine are being faced with learning experiences that force them to become more compassionate and caring. Women who carry very little masculine energy are finding themselves faced with life issues that force them to take hold of the reins and begin making decisions.
The choice of a male or female body when preparing for incarnation is determined by an individual’s need for the energy of the gender. This is why you often see very feminine qualities in some men, or very masculine qualities in some women. Their present gender was chosen through the realization that they had experienced too many lifetimes as either male or female, and now need to experience and integrate the opposite in order to bring about balance but they still resonate strongly with the energies that are more familiar to them.
There is often confusion when an individual who resonates strongly with the energy of one gender as the result of having lived many lifetimes as one or the other, finds himself in the body of the gender he/she is not familiar with. He or she experiences self as being in the wrong body because once incarnated into the density of third dimensional energy, the person doesn’t remember his or her free will pre-birth choice to experience the gender they were lease familiar with.
If humans could only realize that they are not just physical bodies, but are consciousness, spiritual beings having physical experiences they would easily understand why some individuals experience being transgender, homosexual, cross dress, or even choose gender reassignment surgery. Homosexuality can be a pre-birth choice made in order to add this particular experience to their Soul’s learning process but more often than not it is simply a person who is resonating more fully with the energies of the opposite gender.
It is the job of every enlightened individual to love, respect and help those struggling with gender issues to accept and love themselves in an ignorant society that continues to tell them there is something wrong with them. Third dimensional society often treats these individuals as outcasts, with many so called “Christians” labeling them as being “sick or sinful”. Teach them the truth of energy if they are open to it. It takes a great deal of courage to choose a life as an unfamiliar gender in order to spiritually evolve.
Homosexual partnerships are often simply individuals who have been loving partners in other lifetimes who have come together in this one as the same gender. The key to spiritual understanding is to remember that human beings are in reality spiritual beings who need physical bodies in order to experience and evolve in earth’s density.
